Midvale Village had a classic real-estate conundrum: How do you flaunt a sleek new 30-unit community in Van Nuys—smack in the middle of Hollywood history—without ignoring the iconic productions filmed right next door (yes, that includes Clueless, Pulp Fiction, and The Office)? Enter the Coe Real Estate Group with a not-so-ordinary request: merge modern living with a dose of cinematic nostalgia.
Our solution? Hide “movie Easter eggs” all over a staged unit—think Alicia Silverstone’s Clueless ensemble, the “Nervous” license plate from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and yes, McLovin’s infamous ID from Superbad. Then, using Matterport’s 3D scanning magic, we turned the hunt for these relics into an interactive game, compelling potential buyers to poke around every last corner of the model home. The prize if they found all ten items? More than just bragging rights—a discount on their new home (because, hey, everything’s better when it saves you a few bucks).
Next, we produced a video campaign that showcased two very different lifestyles that Midvale Village could accommodate. Spoiler alert: regardless of what they do all day, everybody ends up in the same vibrant new neighborhood, happily coexisting in a place where fresh builds meet movie-worthy charm. Problem solved. Hollywood legacy preserved. And prospective buyers? Thoroughly entertained.
